Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Sojourn website and service. By using Sojourn or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. Please read them.
What Sojourn is
Sojourn is a tool for organizing and remembering a life lived across borders. It is in early access and still being built, so parts of it will change, and some features described on this site may not be available yet.
Not legal, tax, or immigration advice
This matters, so we will be plain about it. Sojourn helps you organize your own movement and records. It does not provide legal, tax, or immigration advice, and nothing in the product or on this site should be treated as such. Day counts, residency rules, and similar information are there to help you stay organized, not to make decisions for you. For anything that carries legal or financial weight, please consult a qualified professional.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, you are asking to be told when access opens. It does not guarantee access, a specific timeline, or a price. You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
Your account and acceptable use
When accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. You agree not to misuse Sojourn: no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no using it to break the law or infringe the rights of others.
Your content
The countries, stays, notes, documents, and other information you add are yours. You keep ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and show it back to you so the service can work. We do not claim your memories.
Our content
The Sojourn name, brand, design, and software are ours or our licensors’. You may use the service as intended, but not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it.
Availability and “as is”
Sojourn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, especially during early access. We do our best to keep it running and to protect your data, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Sojourn and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information you organized in the product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Sojourn at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date above.
Governing law
Sojourn is operated by Schoen Ltd, a company based in Cyprus. These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and any disputes relating to them or to your use of Sojourn will be subject to the courts of Cyprus.
